Previous owner's list of details and updates on the van:
This E-350 was purchased new in New York and appears to have been delivered straight to AGOR
Recreation Industries in June 1994 for the high-top custom conversion build out before going off to Quigley in July 1994 for the 4 X 4 conversion.
The previous owner acquired this van in May 2013 with 148,000 miles. Mechanically it was very sound and structurally very solid. Although the van was in excellent condition both inside and out, more than $50,000 and hundreds of hours were poured into this rebuild with the focus on making an extremely reliable and comfortable rig capable of cross-country travel.
A complete engine overhaul was performed as well as transmission rebuild. Every mechanical item was addressed and all new parts purchased including all engine accessories, sensors, pumps and injectors.
The original Dana 70 rear differential was replaced with a late model Dana 60 with disc brakes. Both front and rear Dana 60s were completely disassembled and rebuilt with a gearing upgrade to 4:56 ratio. The transfer case was resealed. All suspension, steering and braking components were rebuilt or replaced with premium parts.
The front and rear A/C system was completely gone through and updated to R134A refrigerant and is ice cold. New exhaust including catalytic converter and Magnaflow muffler were installed. The second, isolated house battery was moved from the engine compartment to the frame rail to make way for a custom cold air intake.
The interior was completely removed so the sides, floor, roof and all doors could be thoroughly insulated.
The wiring for the new AV system was neatly installed at this time. All the oak woodwork was refinished in dark ebony and a new interior including side panels, door panels and carpet was put in. A complete wall-to-wall matching floor mat was added too. The seating is top quality, all leather seating with front captains chairs (passengers swivels), second row reclining, swivel captains chairs that are easily removable and rear sofa that converts to a huge bed with the push of a button.
The audio/visual system was seriously upgraded with Kenwood head unit, Rockford Fosgate amplifiers and all premium speakers and subwoofer. An RV spec flat screen TV was added with PlayStation and wireless headsets. An inverter powers the 110 volt components that is powered up at the flip of a switch on the overhead console.
Other nice features include trailer brake controller back up camera, privacy shades all around (the two back doors have the shaded removed because the strings broke (they are fixable), mood lighting, tinted glass all around, USB charging ports on the drink rails and lots of overhead storage. The leather seats, console, dashboard, instrument cluster and all the interior plastic are in nearly new condition. The carpet has no wear or stains and the Ford front floor mats are like new. All original rubber door seals are in like new condition with no cracks or rips.
The exterior was treated to a complete refresh as well. The paintwork is outstanding. No scratches, chips or imperfections. Great panel alignment. The doors open and close effortlessly. All exterior plastics are in like new condition. The RV windows were taken apart, refinished and all new seals were installed.
The wheels, front and rear bumpers were powder-coated a matching dark bronze. The custom front bumper was made starting with a genuine Ford bumper. The lights are neatly installed and wired correctly. The under carriage was recently detailed and repainted and looks amazing.
Toyo Open Country A/T 305-75-R16 tires and have less than 1500 miles on them. A fresh oil change (Mobile 1), fuel and air filters were just done along with new wipers. All books that came with the van are present, the Quigley paper work along with piles of receipts will be included. Just passed emissions and currently tagged in TX with a clear title. Ready to go anywhere.
Always stored properly and meticulously maintained by both past and present owners it would be difficult to find a nicer example.
